GTMC Polo Challenge - Family Fun Day

The Event
Come along and enjoy all the facilities at Ascot Park Polo Club
including food, drink and entertainment. With teams of players being
trained up for the GTMC Polo Challenge, this will be a unique and
memorable event for GTMC members and their families and friends to
enjoy.
Teams will comprise of 6 players (2 teams of 3
players) combining with a polo professional to compete on the day.
80% of players coming to Ascot Park have limited or no riding
experience and both men and women alike compete alongside one
another in a safe controlled environment.
All equipment will be provided for the occasion
including team shirts representing your company on the day. With
non-stop entertainment & a cash bar with refreshments together with
pony rides and ‘Have a Go’ session for all to enjoy, it will be a
day like no other.
Team Training Programme
Your Company will have the opportunity to
select 6 staff members to learn how to play polo, even if
they have never been on a horse before. Ascot Park Polo Club,
located just 40 minutes from central London, will host the guest
players either as a group or individuals for the
2 hr ’Discover Polo’ lesson plus 1
Instructional chukka any weekend or on selected mid-week
dates throughout the Summer. Your company branded polo shirts will
also be provided for the GTMC Polo Challenge for the newly trained 6
players plus their professional instructor to compete on the day.

Family & Friends Welcome
Family and friends are all welcome to enjoy a great day in the
country & cheer on the teams. All entrance fee proceeds will go to
The Rainbow Trust, a wonderful
charity that provides support to over 1000 families a year who have
a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Entrance fees
will be £10 per adult and £5 per child (up to 16) and need to be
purchased in advance to secure availability.
Why not bring a picnic and enjoy the facilities of
Ascot Park Polo Club whilst cheering on your team for this action
packed day. All spectators will have the opportunity to experience
the ‘Have a Go’ session where they can learn how to hit a polo ball
or even get on a pony and try it out for themselves!
