Rangitiki Polo Academy News

The Academy has really established itself this year acting as its own Club-within-a-Club. We have had a lovely group of regular players who have brought about a fantastic team spirit amongst members.

For the first time, the academy was allotted its own fixture list with an impressive 12 tournaments played over the long 5 months of summer.

New recruits found seeking glory in Academy bouts include Troy Charvetto, Eddie Wyatt, Maxine Betteridge, Margaret Butler, Ingrid Brady and newest and youngest member who joined on his 13th birthday Will Randall-Coath. Amongst a list of hard working players, old hands Mia Randall-Coath and Matt Delahay were stalwarts demonstrating some determined play in many finals.

Congratulations also go to Kim Hunter, Gerard Hall, Wendy Ross, Aditya Khana all of whom having had a great summer have moved up to Lower Club level.

The winter looks to be hotting up already with the arena polo well underway. We have some great fixtures for the Academy including some festive fun over Christmas. Hope to se you all regularly over the coming weeks!
