Jordan to Ascot Park in September followed by a visit
to Jordan by Peter, Elizabeth and Victoria, the Ascot Park/Royal Jordanian bond has been strengthened further.

Top Club Matches
at Ascot Park
Sunday October 19th at Ascot Park saw the curtain drawn on
arguably the longest grass polo season, starting in mid-April,
played by any HPA club this summer. At the 'top end' of polo
club activities, Epsom were
triumphant for a second year running in May's
Waterloo Cup with one of Ascot
Park's most loyal sponsors and members Keith Cornwell choosing
5th July to stage the Cornwell
Affiliates Cup.

Ladies' Chukkas
Ladies' polo at Ascot Park continued to go from strength to strength again this
summer. With not one single Wednesday evening or Thursday
morning being cancelled due to the fantastic summer weather,
dedicated chukkas took place twice weekly followed by a get
together in the marquee or Clubhouse.

Academy News
The Academy
has really established itself this year acting as its own
Club-within-a-Club. For the first time, the Academy was allotted
its own fixture list with an impressive 12 summer tournaments.

Training Centre Roundup
This season has seen the Ascot Park Training Centre grow in
leaps and bounds with new faces flooding in every week. The 2
hour Discover Polo
lesson has introduced over 500 people to the game during
the summer.
