Prestigious companies unite to provide the Ultimate Experience

Cliveden, part of the private collection of von Essen hotels has teamed up with Ascot Park Polo Club – the worlds largest training centre and prestigious polo club, to offer corporate guests the opportunity to take part in the famous ‘Learn to Play Polo Experience’.

Together Cliveden and Ascot Park Polo Club can provide guests with a unique experience. The day will begin with delegates being whisked away by private helicopter to the beautiful grounds of Ascot Park Polo Club in order to try ‘the Sport of Kings’ for themselves.

Non- riders and riders alike are welcome to try polo for themselves – 85% of participants have never sat on a horse before. Groups graduate from learning the rules and tactics before mastering the polo swing. Shortly after comes the riding followed by a ‘stick and ball’ practice session. Finally, everyone can play their first game of polo to put their new found skills into practice.

The ‘Learn to Play Polo Experience’, established in 1994, is a bespoke day tailor made to suit each individual need from playing polo all afternoon after learning about the game in the morning or alternatively dining on the field side watching a high-goal exhibition match put on specifically for private viewing.

There is no better way than to spend a day indulging in polo sampling the unique hospitality options provided by both Ascot Park Polo Club and the Von Essen Group.
