The Joules UK National
Women’s Polo Tournament is the largest women’s polo event in the
world. On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August, top female players
from across the world will compete for this coveted title in the
beautiful setting of Ascot Park.
This will be the 4th year Joules have sponsored the polo
tournament, which ties in with their equestrian heritage. All
teams participating in the event will play in specially designed
Joules polo shirts using colours they have selected themselves.
The equestrian range reflects the requirements of polo playing
and horse riding customers providing a vibrant, active and
wearable range.

not just the rich and famous, to access this exhilarating sport
is very exciting for us.’ Says Tom Joule of Joules Clothing.
The tournament, now in its 19th year, is a prestigious event in
the polo calendar. Each year top ranked female players from
around the world travel to the UK to take part in the
competition.
The Joules teams will consist of top players including UK’s
Tamara Vesty, ranked joint 3rd in the world playing alongside
Marianela Castagnola of equal ranking from Argentina. Star of
‘Hart to Hart’ Stephanie Powers will also be playing as well as
presenting the prizes to both winners and runners-up. And new
for this year, Alex Jacob the 16-year-old who is taking the polo
world by storm!
Lie back on your colourful Joules picnic rug and take in a few
chukkas as you sip chilled Prosecco and nibble on a delectable
picnic, straight from your matching Joules cool bag. Pass out
the plates and cutlery from your picnic hamper to create a real
al fresco feel as the horses gallop past.
At lunchtime, delight in a fantastic display from the British
Equestrian Vaulting Team who will be performing graceful
gymnastics on horseback. Learn to play polo in a special
session, also during lunch, where everyone can learn to swing a
stick, hit the ball and even learn to do both whilst on a polo
pony.
